Information Sessions
Join us at a Kindergarten Admissions information session. Attending an information session is a great way to learn more about Kindergarten Admissions.
Elementary School Directories
Read through the online 2014-2015 Elementary School Directories, or pick up a Directory at your local elementary school or Enrollment Office. Each borough's Directory contains information about Kindergarten Admissions, schools located in that borough, district maps, and a summary chart of all public kindergarten programs in New York City. Use the Directories as a resource to help you decide which schools to list on the kindergarten application.

Apply by February 14
You can submit your child's 2014-2015 kindergarten application in one of three ways: online through KindergartenConnect, in person at an Enrollment Office, or over the phone by calling 718-935-2400.
We expect to receive high call volume during the first week of the application period. There is no advantage to applying early, so you can take your time making your final decisions. All applications submitted by the February 14 deadline will be treated equally. Did you already submit a kindergarten application? If so, we'd love your feedback. Please take a moment to complete this survey. Questions? NYCPublic, a public school parent action site, has created a space for you to share your experiences, questions, and thoughts (good or bad) about Kindergarten Connect. The DOE has a survey, but the press and the public won’t see your responses, so NYCPublic asks you to also share what you though here. The more they know about your experiences with Kindergarten Connect, the more they can advocate on your behalf to improve the system.
