 What is a Baby Group?

A cozy community of families who are grouped together based on the due date/birth date of their children. These online groups share information (questions regarding pregnancy, tips on flying-with-an-infant) and arrange regular meetings around the neighborhood. They are great resources for creating nanny shares, organizing a playgroup, trading outgrown clothing, even swapping extra diapers.  We have Monthly Baby Groups and Seasonal Baby Groups.

Note: Our 2023 and earlier groups live on our membership platform (clubexpress) while our 2024 & later groups live on our groups.io platform.

What is a Specialty Group?

These currently live on our membership platform. Members can log into their account and visit their groups HERE or JOIN/LEAVE these groups HERE

Park Slope Parents have a variety of personal interests, from bilingualism to cooking. We host a variety of online groups to help parents find each other and share resources.

-- We have a dozen bilingual/heritage groups!

-- We have a space just for dads to connect, called PSP DADS!

-- We have groups for cooking, knitting, weight loss, stay-at-home-moms, and navigating the neighborhood (if you're new to Park Slope).

--We have career groups for folks who want to network with others in their field.

What are the Tough Stuff Groups?

Families need as strong of a support network as possible, especially when they're going through tough situations. The goal of our tough stuff groups are to connect members to a nurturing community that understands and can relate, personally.

Our Cancer/Illness Warriors is designed as a special space for individuals struggling with chronic conditions/disease, or who have a member of their family or friend fighting to survive with one.

Our Aging Parents group helps parents in the sandwich generation-- parenting their kids and helping their own parents navigate aging.

Motherless Mothers help each other navigate being a mom without their moms.
