I'm not a swinger, but last time I checked, parents were sexual beings too.
 I
appreciate A & AZ freshly reminding us that we all express ourselves in a
 variety of different ways. Thanks!

Oh boy, is this a joke? Why on earth would you consider this the
right place to meet like-minded folks. I'm sure you're aware that
the internet offers a lot of possibilities for you guys to meet people
who share your sexual practices. You may have noticed that this
email group deals mainly with parenting and neighborhood issues.

We have to agree with the comment that you're both out to lunch! The core
subject here is parenting, and some of us sometimes desperately hunt here
for advice when we have precious little time to spare. This is not an "ideal"
place for your trolling for new sex partners. Troll elsewhere please.
And by the way, you're totally unsexy.

I have not read any of the emails, however I don't see anything wrong with
swinging! In fact I have 2 children and if I am not mistaken they are out
 SWINGING right now! third street
I'll admit that sometimes early in the morning, after we throw the ball
around to the dog, I like to swing with my son at 9th street (of course we
tie up the dog) And we love it!!!
I say kick up your heels and let the wind fly free in your hair and...
OHHHHHHHHHHHHH, my wife just informed me that you meant another kind of
swinging altogether. Well...in that case, please be a little more thoughtful
before you post to the PARENTS LISTSERVE. I am an open minded (albeit
closed legs) guy and I am happy for you, however I believe you have chosen
 the wrong forum.
Good luck and we will see you at the playground!

Why would this be spam? Spam is sending multiple copies of an email
out to many individuals, groups, forums etc. They are from the slope
and sent a one time msg not having to with buying or selling
anything for money. In this forum we advertise slope apartments and
 different services all the time.
What it more relates to is if it is adult content etc. There are
certain yahoo groups that are for adult content in which there is a
warning and only people 18 and older are aloud to be members. But
 that is a different issue.

 Subject: Swing on this
Two things wrt the message about swinging:
1 - You risk your anonymity posting anything on a list like this.
It's not only an inappropriate forum for soliciting sex, the format
lends itself to mis-use. Eg., people often respond to the entire
list inadvertently when they are intending messages for individuals.
You have already drawn significant attention to yourself. You go
 figure out the rest.
2 - As the daughter of "soft swingers," having grown up in my own
Rick Moody-style nightmare of a childhood, I urge you to think twice
about what you are doing. If your kids or anyone else's are exposed
to any of your goings-on, the results can be extremely damaging.
Please consider alternatives. There are proven ways of spicing up
your sex life without involving other people.

 Hi,
We are one of you, a really nice slope couple with kids who occasionally
indulges in some soft swinging. We thought we'd put it out there, if there
are other folks who might be curious about this. We are not part of what
they call the "lifestyle," but have had a few really fun experiences that
have spiced up our lives. We are mid 30's, and some of you may know us, so
we have made sure to keep ourselves anonymous, and we ask that you do as
well, to keep discretion. (we made a new email account). We don't know if
anyone is interested, but we thought this would be an ideal place to meet
like-minded, bright, imperfectly attractive, professional, thoughtful and
friendly people. We're not sure how to go about this exactly, so if anyone
has any input (please be nice) or interest, let's communicate. We can be
reached at xxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Single moms are of course encouraged to
 say hi also.
Look forward to seeing what might come back.

 A&A,
I consider myself a forward thinking, liberal Park Sloper, but PLEASE!!!! If
this is a legitimate post, you are both out to lunch. Have you checked the
name of this listserve lately? PARKSLOPEPARENTS! Last I knew it was about
 help
and support and an exchange of information focused on PARENTING in PARK
 SLOPE.
Did it ever dawn on you that kids might read some of these postings? Find
 another outlet folks!
