Summary from a broken break:
“All the replies told me to just contact Uppababy customer service. (I didn't remember registering the stroller and I just assumed that the warranty was up which is why I didn't go there first). I emailed them and got a response within a day or so. I had to take a picture of the broken brake and email it to them and they shipped me replacement wheels and brakes no charge. Super easy to work with.”
Summary from a broken frame:
“I received a total of 4 feedback. All 4 suggested that I contact Uppababy either for a free (or not) replacement frame or repair. Uppababy advised me to buy a new replacement frame for $180. Which I will not do. I feel that for such an expensive product, it should last longer than 5 years. Replacing wheels and such is a given but having to replace the main part of the stroller if not ok I think. So I will try to have it welded and take it from there. The 4 mothers who got back to me had the same thing happen to them. 3 with an Uppababy and 1 with a Boogaboo.

“I have a Britax and I had a few issues so I called their customer service. They sent me over a few fix it yourself stuff at no charge and it came with instructions and an online video. Try calling the company, you never know what they might offer.”
Depending on the brand, some stroller companies offer free tune-ups at local toy stores - so check that out:
“In case anyone has an Uppababy stroller that is need of repair, I thought I'd mention my recent Uppababy Tune-up experience. It was that awesome that I feel the need to share. Uppababy runs these free tune-ups at local toy stores. If you look online, you should be able to find one. They cleaned off all the rust and did some minimal repairs at the tune-up. My stroller needed some major parts replaced. They paid to ship it there and back to their headquarters (overnight FedEx). They fixed it all for free and in less than a week. When I called customer service, it was so easy. You get a real person that knows your story / status of your order plus they reply to emails. Anyways, I thought I'd share in case anyone had a stroller needing a tune-up.”
“I got an email from [Uppababy] recently about an upcoming "tune-up" event they're having at Wee Babe in Williamsburg, I'm sure you can Google it and sign up. We went to the last event in BK at the toy store on Court Street and they were super helpful and gave us some free swag. A friend who also went got all four wheels replaced on their stroller. Good luck!”
Contact a stroller repair company:
“One person suggested that I try a service called the tot squad but I never followed up with that lead so I don't know if that would have worked as well.”
