  My daughter has been attending Brooklyn Bridge Fencing ("BBFC") for the past 2 years. BBFC creates a nurturing atmosphere where kids are motivated to fence and to learn. There is a strong sense of community amongst the kids as well as the parents. We have been very pleased with the quality of the coaching and the manner in which we have been guided through the world of competitive fencing. We never have to question the quality and the method of teaching. Dan Kellner has been coaching and has fenced at the highest level and his experience has translated into excellent results for his students. A couple of interesting points to consider: 1. My daughter loved the sword camp in the park and wanted to do more so sought out fencing 2. Fencing has enhanced emotional and mental control which has resulted in a better, well-rounded child at school and at home 3. The student coach ratio is excellent 4. Location of the club is about a 1 min walk from the F train (York St stop)
