Santa's Corner at Bryant Park Winter Village

December 15th - December 21st
10:00am - 12:00pm

Santa's Corner returns to Bank of America Winter Village on Friday, December 15, 2023, launching a seven day run that gives visitors of all ages the opportunity to tell Santa what they want for Christmas and pose with him for the perfect photo!

Santa's Corner is located on the rink deck next to The Chalet, and will open from 10am-noon each day through Thursday, December 21, 2023. Guests are welcome to borrow complimentary props for their photos or bring their own.

There is no cost to pose with Santa, and tickets are not required. Photos with Santa are first come, first served. Be nice, Santa is watching!

What PSP members are saying:

"The Bryant Park Winter Village typically has a nice Santa, outdoors and with not much of a line. It's a nice, low-key way to do it. Also it's a fun place to stroll around, with hot chocolate, treats, a giant tree and ice skating to look at (though the skating is prohibitively expensive)."

Macy’s Santaland
November 24th - December 24th
Macy's Herald Square, 8th Floor

Here’s your chance to visit the busiest man of the season inside our Herald Square store.
Book your time to join the line—it’s the only way to meet & snap a photo with Santa in person.

Cost: Admission is free, but a reservation is required. Professional photos are available for purchase, but are optional. Photo packages start at $39.99.

What PSP members are saying:

"We went last night! Much shorter line than usual (though still 30 minutes). Masks are mandatory, even for pics - but we did see some people pulling them down for quick photos. No distancing in line, though there were marks on the floor to. Santa wears a mask and sits behind a desk, and doesn't come out for photos - the kid sits in front of the desk.
It felt safe enough and my son LOVED it!" (2021)

"I do not recommend Macy's. We made a 10am appointment for Macy's Santa and when we arrived and checked in they pointed us to the end of the line which snaked way outside of Santaland entrance, down through the cookware, and around the corner. At which point I asked somebody what the wait time was and they said about 3 hours. Which to me looked more like 4 or 5 hours because I remember the inside from last year and how it snaked around quite a bit. So we left and went to Bloomingdales. Same thing we did last year. So after 2 years of being let down by Macy's, I cancelled my Macy's card and wrote a letter explaining that young children that need naps and meals can't wait in lines that are 3 plus hours long. We have been very happy with the Bloomingdale Santa's and the fact that there were only two people in line in front of us was even better. You are totally allowed to take your own photos and Santa is very cooperative. they also have a photographer there if you would like them to do it and buy a package with printed photos and digital download for very reasonable prices."

"You can take your own pictures head on at Santa Land. I always wait until they take their pictures then ask if I can take my own. They always step aside so I can go in the middle and take my own. You just have to ask! I even carry my gigantic camera (I’m a professional photographer) and have never had anyone say anything to me about it. My pictures are always great and I never have to buy theirs. Also, the new reservation only thing worked out great this year! It was so quick and easy for us (although we did go early in the season so it might be busier later)."

"I did the same. I took my own pics after they took theirs. You just ask them if they don't mine if I take a pic. Honestly, my pics come out way better than theirs.”

Breakfast with Santa
Through December 24th
Stella 34 Trattoria

This holiday season, give your family a magical morning in the very same store where the movie "Miracle on 34th Street" was filmed. Start with a festive breakfast feast amid exclusive Empire State Building views, with holiday carolers and activities for the kids and a complimentary mimosa for the adults. Then, meet Santa Claus and take a keepsake photo with him and his elves!

Cost: Pricing begins at $45 for children and $65 for adults (plus tax and gratuity) and varies based on the date, time, and seating category selected.

What PSP members are saying:

"I highly recommend breakfast with Santa at Macy's if you're willing to splurge. We did it annually when my kids were very young, up until Covid shut it down -- but it's back this year. You need to make a reservation. It's fun - every family gets individual time with the Macy's Santa, there's no massive line, the breakfast is good, kids get little cookie gift bags to bring home. It's a fun family tradition and we always look at the windows after."

“NO LINE! He's a great looking Santa, and they took 3 'poses' this year. My fav is one of my son whispering what he wants in Santa's ear. Great pics this year.”

Singing Tree-Angles Presents: A Performance by Karl Larson
Monday, December 11th
5:00pm - 6:30pm
6th Avenue Triangle at Flatbush

The North Flatbush Avenue Business Improvement District (BID) is excited to announce its newest public art and engagement project - Singing Tree-Angles - Celebrating the sound of place in lights!--located at the 6th, 7th, and 8th Avenue Triangles along Flatbush Avenue, Brooklyn. “Singing Tree-Angles” brings our public triangles to life, enhancing the experience of our unique and dynamic neighborhood along Flatbush Avenue from Atlantic Ave to 8th Ave in Prospect Heights/Park Slope, Brooklyn. The installation captures the environmental sounds and the lights pulse to the vibrant Brooklyn activity. Visitors, shoppers, and neighbors can experience the vibrant melody of the neighborhood through lights, and interact with the installation via sculptured, abstract tree engagement points with singing, clapping, whistling, or playing tunes, and add their own twinkle to the showcase.

We are also thrilled to announce a musical partnership with Karl Larson (https://www.karllarsonpiano.com/), a local pianist, composer, and instructor, who is creating an original, unique musical score to accompany the Singing Tree-Angles. The music, alongside the unique, reactive light show, will delight the neighborhood as it “sings” along to the beat of Flatbush Avenue.

Karl will perform a special global debut of “Canopy” on Monday, December 11, 2023, at 5pm. Join us at the 6th Avenue Triangle at Flatbush Avenue to listen to the original piece, as well as other music engagements,  and join in on the musical fun.
